One of the few cities which I wanted to visit before I move out of Europe (incase I have to move) is Prague (Praha/Prag-capital of czech repulic). Here comes my journey....There was a traffic jam and the flix bus reached Praha in the mid night. I was hungry, worried that everything will be closed and nothing will be available to eat. But the city didn't sleep...many restuarants, shops, pubs were left open-perfect for nightlife. Lot of hunger..found a small resturant with reasonable price..and had the first taste of Praha at midnight 😋
The moment I landed in Praha I decided-I eat all the delicacies in czech in these two days as much as possible.
The city looked adorable in night with happy tourist enjoying thier vacation. The next morning it was raining and I started to explore the city in rain. Too much people on charles bridge.. the bridge was so full that we could only see the umbrellas in all directions we move on the bridge. Inspite of rain and crowd, I enjoyed the walk in the old city.. it was pleasant to explore. One thing I liked about Praha- All main attractions can be reached by walk and can be seen in two days. One day to the places in one side of the charles bridge (old town square, jewish quarter,Wenceslas square, etc) and other day to the top of the castle, St.vitus cathedral, all attractions in that area. Praha is not cheap..it is equally expensive like other cities in europe. I had difficultiy in finding the boarding point for flix bus to return back.
There are some amazing looking candys in caption candy shops in praha.
I admired the architecture, old buildings, sunset during walk in the bridge, candid people, ride in local bus or tram, night life, happy tourist-this made me to feel I should visit the city again, especially during christmas. I managed to see the John Lennon wall before I leave the city.
I took the below cute pencils for my bhuiji...hope she will like it.
