Sometimes if I am sad I have a habit to write a post in my blog...for the past six months I have been sad so many times and I never wanted to write a post. I sit in a room on a cosy bed under a ceiling fan so that I don't sweat. I take care last two days to turn on the fan to which ever room I go...can someone by now guess where I live at present...?? Seven years back I left this a place happily aiming to fly high towards reaching my goal. Little did I thought I would return back here after seven long years...ofcourse I had few dreams where I am back to this place and working with same people I worked with and have wondered why I dreamed I would return back here from Germany. Last Monday I crossed SRM, it was raining and yes I reached chennai.

KD...Hatsoff Madhumita !

It is always difficult to settle with a movie amidst confusion which movie to watch and where to watch. I came across KD movie poster many times and did not feel to enter in and watch it. One day it was late night..I was sleepless and was trying to find something in youtube to watch. Came across a good print of a full tamil movie KD. The first opening scene, beauty of mountains and village views interested me. The opening voice too..! After two minutes I know I want to watch this full movie. Next two hours I was involved so deeply in the movie that I could not think of anything else in my mind other than the two lead characters and what will happen to them.

It is such a simple movie with a nice message. The movie tune the emotions of viewers up and down. The background music for every scenes perfectly conveys what kind of person or situation is intended to be portrayed. We are not left to only watch a heart breaking emotional sentiment movie. The exchange of dialogues, gestures, music are funny and gives us a little break from being emotional. Ofcourse we can't fully watch in the fun mode because we will eagerly await for that ending to know if it will be a happy or sad end.

 The 80 year old man KD and kutty did justice to thier roles. They shared amazing chemistry and made us to travel along with them in the movie. They both were funny, serious, emotional. I liked the ten wishlist for KD and the way kutty made it happen to KD. The flim made me to sit back, watch, focus, think, become emotional, shed little tears, laugh a bit, enjoy the village views and finally to accept and take a good message. The most of the viewers will surely take care of thier old parents after this movie. Being in abroad for so long, I liked to watch village life, farm lands, farm animals, bus ride and thiruvila (festival) in kutralam. It was not annoying to watch the old man inhaling kanja (drugs) or drinking alcohol or meeting his old crush. The beauty and the message in the movie did not force the critics to complain that the kid buys alcohol for grandfather or KD uses drugs infront of the kid. The scenes in the flim can be accepted as it is without any criticism or I cannot think of any other ways it can be portrayed. The scenes were KD meet his young age crush were shown beautifully. The way KD corrects tamil alaphabet pronunciations of kutty shows how well/clear KD can speak tamil. The scenes were kutty and KD enjoy MGR movie was nice..they acted so well in these scenes laughing from heart..the way KD expressed his happiness while watching MGR movie is so real (as seen in first photo of this post) and seeing this sort of happiness from an old man who was in coma before touches your heart. Everbody watching this scene and the movie will wish that they both remain happy for ever. I am a big fan of biryani and who not from tamil nadu.. I was on the edge of my seat to know what happens in the climax for KD. Thank you madhumita for ending the movie this way...
Once the movie was over, first time in my life I searched information about who wrote and directed. I am happy that atleast someone exist to give such a splendid movie in this generation without bothering about how much they will earn back or to include contents that interest the youth. This movie was not taken with intention to earn money or fame. A very simple, low budget movie with new good actors without a heroin. There is no violence and fight. Just pleasant and emotional to watch with our family together.. Kudoos to you madhumita. The next day I conveyed to my family and friends how nice this movie is and they should watch. This is the first time I watch a movie for a second time in twenty four hours with a friend of mine and post  a review in my blog.

Fairy tale christmas markets in Budapest

My journey started at 4 am with much excitement to see the glowing, fantastically decorated Budapest. The neighbours in the train were good and the 8 hour journey was not so bad. All seats were occupied-everyone wants to travel back to thier home to celebrate christmas with thier family. It was treat to the eyes to cross Austria, especially the beautiful landscape and mountains around Salzburg. It was 2.30pm when I reached Budapest. It was not my first time. Waited until evening, stepped out to atlast see the much awaited christmas markets. The first view was like in a fairy tale, charming. Everybody was clicking videos and photos as much as they could.. it was enchanting to walk amidst the glowing street.





































The 3D laser show in St. Stephen's Basilica was awesome. Asusual the aroma from hungarian food and drinks, decorations, clothes were sensational. Not only the christmas markets, but the trees in most of the roads in Budapest were beautifully decorated.. Altogether I enjoyed the gorgeous, stunning christmas decorations in Budapest. I appreciate the representatives who planned for these decorations in the city and christmas markets in such a way that the tourist are amazed.
