Budapest-you are never boring !!

It was begining of October when I was in Budapest for the first time. I admired: the frequent transport system..from old, new metros, trams and buses. I was amazed by the long old still functioning escaltors. The metro line M1 is the thrid oldest underground built between 1894 to 1896.

The city is divided by the river Danube. The hilly west side of the river is called Buda where Buda castle, Fisherman's Baston, Gellert hill are located. Looks from the west side below,

The flat district in the east is Pest where the Parliament, Danube Bank Memorial, Central Market hall, Vatci utca street, etc are situated.  The famous chain bridge and other bridges connect the buda and pest.

Budapest has lots to offer..thermal bath, panaromic views from buda castle, Fisherman's Baston and gellert hills, ruined pubs, thermal baths, margret island, night view of parliament building, chain bridge, etc. If you have visited these sights in your first trip, still there are much different things to see and enjoy in your second trip. Or its simply amazing to sit and adore the sun set and lights once again from buda castle or gellert hill/citadella. I would like to go there when ever I get chance..I would enjoy to ride in metro (especially the old metro) and in tram. I would fancy to walk in a Cafe and relax having a nice coffee with a delicious hungarian cake. One main reason for me to visit Budapest: Ms Heroine. I will tell more about her in my upcoming post. Because of her I visited Budapest for the second time during Christmas. Soon will come tales about my christmas visit.
