Peaceful Sunday

It was 5 am when I opened my eyes...it was windy, cold and raining outside...a right weather to peep back into my blanket again..Ah, What a relief.. it was sunday... I can happily stretch myself again, hug my teddy bear and sleep tight for some more time. Its always a pleasure to find that we have some more time to sleep in the morning... Later, I opened my eyes, took my mobile, it was around 6 am..saw the first good morning message as usual from Three musketteers and wrote them back "good morning". Then opened kullanari kootam and saw my mani mama photo....today is his fifth death anniversary. As every year, my heart was not so heavy today .. by now I understood this is better for him and his peace is more important than we as a family missing him much. Hi, Mani mama....how are you? Am I right mama?

I had coffee, bread butter and jam, some christmas cookies for breakfast... watched few videos on youtube while having breakfast. A peace and clarity in thoughts inside my heart after these days of bad weather..I smiled... spoke with my mom. After the long call, chatting about everything to her, I decided to write my blog. Yes, today I don't have to prepare for my german exam, or have to spend time to finish any task...I can enjoy today the joy of writing in my blog without any guilty feeling that I have to spend my time on other important things than writing my blog. Anyways the weather outside is not so good to go out and very good to sit inside with a cup of coffee, look through the window and enjoy writing.

I am writing a new, long post which will be posted too soon. In the afternoon, a friend of mine visited for lunch... I learned to make a very yummy chicken gravy with right spices.. we both ate with good appetite. The aroma fills my room and I am eagerly waiting to have dinner 😋

Still its raining outside.. am glad that my soft toys are inside my room. I miss those few birds that were now and then visiting the tree near my window last week. The tree beside my window by now lost.. ( no shed would be the right word ) its leaves. But the pine tree out there is ever green. I never kept status photos or videos in whats app. I don't like to reveal or show up what I did every day.... Today for a change i explored how to set status updates and uploaded the following.

I am hearing songs, yet to prepare for the upcoming week and gonna enjoy the delicious dinner. Oh, Why in the world i forgot that today i shoud clean my room ? No regrets I will do this week... Glad that I had a peaceful Sunday.

Life is an enigma-Part 4

Yes its Winter.. trees already lost thier leaves, cold weather, fog, less light and more darkness prevails. Now and then I still see few little birds fighthing this weather while other birds already migrated. I am silent, my heart too..my eyes looks-at a different me. A girl with lot of self respect, dignity, happiness is thinking.... thinking of something that is worth to be trashed. My Amma and best friends keep calling or messaging me to turn off my thinking and to know whats up with me. All fine-I said. Out of the window is dark.. inside my room too.. One of my good friend, a best critic told me he is glad for this a experiene I got, that is a best lesson I should hold onto.
Miss.Dimpu, you are given an expereince to learn about people, their intention and a very nice chance to know you more. Aren't you happy to know where you stand? Be grateful to God for all that is happenning around you. Do you still want to deny that your friend's dream has not come true? Cheerssssssss

God for me

So many religions and so many Gods across the world....I personally like Vishnu/Perumal or Krishna. I am not religious. I can bow down to pray Jesus or Allah. I beleive there is a power beyond us on earth and that is workshipped in different forms. We people perform various poojas, rituals and all those to please God to obtain the boon we wish.

When I ask myself, who is God for me...I feel my Vishnu is some sort of power to whom I join both my hands, bow down and talk to Him anything and everything that made me happy, upset, angry, grateful, peaceful and successful. I see Him as the highest power on earth with whom I can surrender myself, talk the truth and seek justice for the unfair happenings around me. To do so, perhaps I should be "clean"..."clean" from doing evil or harm to others, clean from lie, clean by following my responsibilities to the people around me and to the world. So, to pray to my Vishnu and face him straight, I try my level best to be "clean".  I feel, God for me is a configuration or form of  " Justice". He is for me a justice giver, eminent teacher, patient listener, peace donor, happiness offerer and a pure invisible soul who will be available for me all the time until I exist on earth. I wonder, so is the God in the form of Shiva or Jesus or Allah for others?

Every year on Puratassi month I fast....do I fast to please my Vishnu?? Does He really need to be pleased or does He expect that we please Him by torchering or harming us?? I don't  think so. I enjoy to celebrate my Vishnu. I enjoy to decorate him, praise Him and pray to Him for me and to others around me. It gives a lot of positive energy to me. I clean my room and everything around before I pray. If I have to fast, I have to develop self-control. I control myself from eating breakfast on Saturdays. I control me from eating non-vegetarian the whole month. This way, praying to my Vishnu has helped me to develop self-control, determination and positivity. There are lot of health advantages when we fast. Not eating non-vegetarion for a month indeed helps me and not the God. God in any form is a selfless giver. He does not expect anything from us.

Message to be conveyed

Dear Mani Mama,

Years, months, weeks and days are passing...Of course it's difficult for us to pass a day, October 11 of every year since December 2013.  Yes, its a day you came to this world to stand as big as mountain that gave all of us enough strength. You-A big hope for all of your sisters. I am in calm thinking you are resting in more peace somewhere. Good people are taken too soon. Rest in peace mama..its more peaceful there than here. We are fine and slowly all of us are settling in life with one regret that you are not there beside. Bhuji came and doing great with all your blessings. Good memories with you hunt me now and then...am sure all others in our family think of you and miss you like me. Thanks for visiting me in my dreams now and then. With lots of love and tears from all of us...

Almabtrieb in Europe

Almabtrieb is a traditional festival in Europe every year late September or early October when autumn begins, the cows which were gazing in high mountain Alps is brought down to the village after summer. All the cows are decorated and they march in the roads of the village from the mountain before they go to their farmhouse. The bells hanged onto the neck of the cows together make a music when they walk. Local people dress in their traditional costume and celebrate this event with food, drinks and music.
