Lot of money is spent on science and research with the expectation of new inventions. But now a days in some scenario ( like that mentioned in the link above) there is no good science going and researchers manipulate their data just to publish papers in journals. If this persist, is it worth trusting the findings and conclusions of research works published in research papers? Why the percentage of honest researchers declining? Is it because to uplift their CV in short time with publications in high impact journals? Results submitted should be reproducible and should not be manipulated though it takes long time. But being like this in present scientific scenario is very difficult. There is a change needed in present scientific community. Researchers should love what they are researching and enjoy research rather than taking it as their duty to submit results to their PI/funding agency/supervisor or just to get some degree. We should not make the public believe our false results just to get fame. It is better to do Science with Ethics.
