I lost something today which I was holding long for about ten years.... When I was studying 11th standard my mom's last sister, my puppy chithi gave me a hair clip and till today nothing has happened to that clip though i use it very often. That clip fell down many times and still nothing happened to it. But today within a fraction of second it fell into lavatory and I can't get it back...I missed Something which was there with me for a long time in the memory of my Aunt today.. last time when I went home my aunt was surprised to see that on my hair and asked me for how many years I am holding it ??
Yes, Ten years is really incredible for a plastic hair clip to be durable !! Everything happens with a reason.... I wonder why that clip has to be with me this long and why all of a sudden today I have to miss it. Anyways, I rang to my aunt, regretted for loosing it and she said she will get me some new ones..Once again, a lesson learnt from this, " nothing is permanent, feel cool when you loose/miss something and accept the change"
Welcome to my personal web log !! This is where i enjoy the joy of writing and pen down my thoughts and all that i come across. "Life is an Enigma"..... I am trying to understand , live and enjoy the adventures in my life. So far, Everything is Good and I Hope everything will be good. Happy Reading my Blog :)

Adjust or Face..???
I just came across this wonderful story of frog and I feel the moral from this story would help in right dealing of people and situations.

" Human Beings and frogs are the two creatures in nature who have tremendous power to adjust. Put a frog in a vessel of water and start heating the water. As the temperature of the water rises, the frog is able to adjust its body temperature accordingly. The frog keeps on adjusting with increase in temperature. Just when the water is about to reach boiling point, the frog is not able to adjust anymore. At that point the frog decides to jump out. The frog tries to jump but is unable to do so, because it lost all its strength in adjusting with the water temperature. Very soon the frog dies.
What killed the frog? Many of us would say the boiling water.
But the truth is what killed the frog was its own inability to decide when it had to jump out.
We all need to adjust with people and situations, but we need to be sure when we need to adjust and when we need to face. There are times when we need to face the situation and take the appropriate action.
If we allow people to exploit us physically, emotionally or financially, they will continue to do so. We have to decide when to jump. Let us jump while we still have the strength."
So Perfect, isn't it ?? We can adjust to an extent and beyond that we need to wake up. The difficulty lies in deciding whether its worth to adjust or raise up and face it. Before raising against, be sure to know the consequence and analyze whether you have the capacity to withhold it. At times, when our limit for patience crosses, all of a sudden we burst and as a result we are displayed as "bad" in that scenario. To avoid this, its always better to analyze, foresee about things happening around us. I realized the necessitate to learn the art of handling people in a right way and I feel we should not give space for anyone either to hurt or take us for granted.Saturday, 27 July 2013
"Wonder Boy"-The Hero of July 2013
This is 15 year old Moin Junnedi, the wonder boy !! Inspite of suffering from brittle bones with 200 fractures in his body he was able to receive the India book of Records certificate for being the youngest swimmer in 2012. He was able to swim for about 200m and also could float continiuosly for about an hour. .He could grab three gold medals, two in 10th paralympic swimming championship for the disabled in Kolkatta in 2009 and one in Bellary National Meet on July 9, 2010. So far he has won six gold and one silver medal in four natinal swimming competitions.

Even a small blow could fracture his soft bones. Despite his problems its great to think how well he blossmed. A special tribute to his parents Mushtaq and Kausar Junnedi and coach Umesh Kalaghatagi for raising him up to this level.

Dear Moin Junnedi, you are really awesome. We could understand the hard work and pain behind this smile. This smile of yours means a lot...No wonder that you are called "The wonder boy". We are moved by you and thanks for inspiring us. Keep going...reach heights..May success be yours!! All the best and our prayers for your victory in International Wheel chair and Amputee Sports on August 6th at South America

Its all "singing"...
I am not so much crazy about movies. I watch it whenever I am bored and no wonder it helps to kill your time. Few days before I came across a song in Aashiqui 2, "Tum hi ho... It was cool to hear for the first time.. By then I could frequently hear this song from rooms around me in hostel. The movie trailer and songs created an excitment in me to watch this movie. The music is great and Thumbs up
to the songs and already I find myself addicted to Sunn Raha Hai.. flavored by sensational voice of Shreya Ghosal. In my point of view, "Aashiqui 2" is a beautifully raised emotional, simple, decent love story with an amazing performances and chemistry from fresh faces Aditya Roy kapur & Shraddha Kapoor. Surely, the movie would touch the inner feelings of people in love....Its worth to spend time and do watch it.

My Mirror
No matter How I am, No matter where I am, No matter how ever I change....all through my life, No matter what Ever happens...........they Just don't fade away !! My Shadows may play hide and seek to me but a step Closer than my shadows they hang onto me, yet far away from me !!
Confusing ?? I know you guys might wonder about what I am refering here. I don't label everyone I meet and mingle as friends or make friendship with people who is of use to me. I strongly belive any relation should bloom day by day by itself than forming to serve some purpose. People come and go. But Some people just enter inn our life, hold our hands and take us to the top of the world with thier unconditional love, loyalty, trust and support throughout our life without any expectation. The frienship bond we have developed with this kind of people will be long-lasting and durable beyond everything in this world. For one thing I am always grateful to God is, for letting such special creatures to enter inn my life and gifting them as friends to me. For more than five years I am enjoying thier friendship and I am all drenched in thier love and care. As far as I understood, years back God gave me three diamonds and I have kept them in my pocket, nurtured with true friendship. Years are moving on and I could see the worn pocket with holes. Still, I never worry or attempt to safeguard my diamonds from getting missed. As because by now, one thing I am very sure off , No matter whatever, My friends will not fade away from me !! Days and years are passing and I could find that our friendship gets great just like a glass of older wine. It doesn't mean we don't quarell, argue and fight. Yes sometimes we do..But something hold us together beyond everything !! I feel that something is the value, respect and honour we have for the other person and we clearly know friendship is priceless and once we missed it we can't buy or get it back from someone else.
I admire my friends for many reasons and one thing I realized now, "My Friends are my Mirror" and for being like that I adore them much. I have a feeling that they could understand me better than me and they could sense how I could react to a situation. Sometimes, its obvious they are my best critics. Few days ago, I was too worried about my scietific review writing which is very hectic and tedious job. Then the day before the deadline when I rang my friend and complained that I could not finish it up, I got the following answer, " Since your MSc., I am analyzing you and you are someone to start working just before the deadline and finish any task somehow on time. You will either not sleep the whole night or you will do something and atlast it would turn out so well than you expected and you will get appreciations. In this review writing also I am confident than you, that you will do it somehow". These words were ringing in my ears, and gave me some energy to put my best. The next day, I have passed on to my supervisor with what ever I have written and he said the flow is nice and we can aim for some good journal. I was all delighted to hear those words from my supervisor and that awesome moment I just felt like lifting my friend up and say it all happened as you said atlast !! I understood that they could understand me more than me..and this is why they are not friends but My Mirrors.
We all can work hard to reach our goals.. But Everybody needs some one to care, somone to hear our frustrations and motivate us to keep us going and face endeavors. Till this moment, they were with me in all my struggles and happiness giving me thier constant support. So, I just wanna thank god and say my friends " I am all blessed for your friendship and nothing big I have earned so far or I could earn than you guys" Cheersss.. !!

A New begining
Am sitting in the sixth floor, gazing at the lake and big mountains through the window in my new hostel room, enjoying the movement of water and birds. Obviously, I am in a good mood. I was just thinking about the path I traveled all these years that helped me to face the challenges as well as happiness with confidence. I will keep writing here whatever comes to my flow and hope you guys will find it interesting
I am a kind of person to stick onto what I am used for long, irrespective it is living or non-living. There are days where i hesitated to use new mobile since because I am comfortable with what I am using and I don't wanna miss my old gadgets. Is it usual for people to develop some attachment to what ever they are with for long ?? I was so close with my old friends that my mind hesitates to stay close with new people and share the same kind of friendship I use to share with my old friends. Saying "Bye" is the hard situation for ever in my life to everything around me
I was at home until I complete my BSc., and being in Home means staying as you wish with full comfort, eating what you like and your parents take good care of you. It was for my MSc., I flyed out of my home to a different city and I have to stay away from home leaving my family for the very first time in the university hostel. I still remember the day I bid " bye" with tears filled eyes to my father when he left me in the hostel. I am glad that my roommate at that time was Tania from Kolkatta and she told my father "don't worry uncle I will take care of sri". Those words are ringing in my ears and only few people are kind enough to say those sentence and give hope to parents when they leave their kids in hostel. She was very good to me and I miss her after she left the hostel.
Hostel life has taught me so much and brought a complete transformation in me. I never take food outside in any medium class hotels, coffee shop or use rest rooms and I think them unhygienic. Infact I never used anybody's plate, spoon, coffee cup, bed nor allowed anyone using the same. But this is all a part of hostel life !! I have to get up early in the morning, bath in cool water, eat the food though the people who cook it behave unhygienic.. lot of adjustments, disappointments and irritations. My best friend since my BSc., is Suj (Suja) and we both together enjoyed and learned the art of surviving away from home.
Then I moved to Japan, for two months for an Internship and I enjoyed all the new new experiences as well learnt to take care of myself. After I come back, I spent my hostel life happily with suja, encountering all the problems together. I would say those are the days to recall, rejoice and I wish for them again !!
After then, to do my MSc., project I went to Goa and suja to Andaman. I am totally out from my friend's and family circle especially for the first time after five years from suja to other part of the country, where you don't know anyone. I would say this is the best part of life where I understood what life is, how people are and this is where I learned to cope up the hard times and manage the toughest situation. My friends use to say that I trust people easily, Yes I do. My father say me that I am careless, Yes I am careless and that's why someone took my money and my costly camera that I got from Japan in my first stipend. I am always passionate about research and I felt bad when I am not able to do research in that place up to my satisfaction. I was not happy there, But I am thankful for being there, as I could understand life is not always being happy and getting what you wish !! Here, I learnt to be independent and I am glad now a days I don't depend upon anyone for anything. As soon as I reached home after my project, my mom gave me compliments saying, though situations and people were hard to deal, I managed and she never expected this side of me. Awww...that moment I felt proud of myself
I was then again back to my university hostel for my M.Phil degree from where i did my MSc.,. Here I missed suja very much. When ever I go to mess for food, I could remember the place I and she use to sit and eat at times in a same plate, then the swing we use to sit together and enjoy the ups and downs. I get lost the moment i see any two good friends moving along together happily, then the way we use to ride cycles inside the campus every morning to class holding each other's hand. Golden memories.... I felt it hard initially to pass my days in her absence in that place with all these memories. However, My research at lab was going on and I have to thank Achi sir for letting me permission to learn all techniques and expertise available in his lab. He is always very motivating, helping and it was because of him now am in the field of nanotechnology. My M.Phil days altogether helped me to augment my research skills and understand more about research. The one good lesson here I learnt is not to melt for tears of someone, and the most important, " Lets help others but Let us not allow others to use us "
After my M.Phil I was wondering where my destiny would put me. I was keep on trying to set a career as I wish.. .and got few chances, I said "No" and days later I am Happy for my "No" . I missed few chances and people advised me to think twice of my decision. I am now thinking of how my career would be if I have chosen that. But fine, I don't regret for the decisions I have taken in my life till now. I should really thank my dad and mom and my family and friends for giving me all independence to do what I wish and be like what I want. I am always given space and freedom to take and follow my own decisions. After my BSc., my sister Prems, has been my constant support and whenever i speak with her I could understand that she wants me to settle and have a good career soon. I was holding patience, applied for places where I liked, and as of now I am enjoying research in chennai. Brand new place for me, brand new people around me and entirely the research I will be doing is all new to me. Two days back I shifted my hostel room to a new block,, New room... I got few new friends and its all New beginning !! I hope to do well, give my best and enjoy this part of my life.
Years before I am so different than I am now. I am so sensitive, especially I get attached to people like a gum and cry a lot while leaving. I never like "changes ". The path I traveled all these years gave me many experiences through which I could understand more about life and people. I can now adopt to changes..I realized that nothing is permanent except change. Likewise, people come, go and life is all meeting and departing..No one is permanent for us.. even our shadow. I should enjoy what is with me at present. I can't go through small hurting from people and disappointments. Now I understood that life is not always being happy and I can accept the defeat in a cool attitude.I am confident to handle the hard times, what ever is the problem. If I can't handle a problem, I leave it to God !!Things will not happen as we think and we can't get what ever we wish. When situation demands, you need to change and you need to get down sometimes from your standard and forget your principles!! Sometimes we need to accept life as it comes and later one day we will realize that everything happens with a reason. Trust me guys, how much ever hard the situation is Time heals everything.
I am crossing 25yrs of my life.. I gained and lost so many things in my life.Whatever I lost is not a matter for me. But for one thing I am always proud of, is my friends..Their true association, constant support, motivation during my crucial times has helped me to cross all my difficulty. I am thankful to God, for granting a boon to have such great friends. I miss them very often.. and I wish them to be near me. Days are moving on, I have to carry on my life as it goes. .... Just like me, my old gold friends take their life in their direction. I know how much far we stay, they will be there for me always and will pray to God for my well fare..That's more than enough,, isn't ??
