Hero of June' 2013 !!

            I really hate it, when some one tries to discourage or demotivate others. The way to develop the best that is in a man is by appreciation and encouragement. People need words of encouragement to sort out things than advice and negative feedback. I believe a generous amount of applause and encouragement would do much better than criticism. Lets Encourage and motivate everyone around us. I would like to dedicate a section "Real Life Heroes" in my blog to post every month about a real hero who demonstrated remarkable achievements beyond their limits.
      I begin with a 18 year old chap from India. Here goes his CV,

   Fantastic, Isn't??  In spite of being visually impaired, he was able to score 96% in his class XII CBSE exams and could seize a place in Stanford university. Its amazing that he could excel in his studies as well as in music,writing and other social activities. Just now, I heard one of his speech to school students and the way he delivered it in English at this age was excellent with clear pronunciations and flow. He aimed to pursue his studies in IIT, India but then he was told that there is no provision for blind students to take IIT-JEE. As the proverb, 

          " in the middle of every difficulty lies an opportunity" 

      His thirst for knowledge and hardwork fetched him a fellowship to study in Stanford university. Its not so easy to come up to this level being differently abled. I could sense the hardships he and his family members went through everytime to reach his goal. I would like to appreciate all that kind hearts who stood by his side to raise him up to this level, especially their parents and family members. Its not the normal attitude, I am differently challenged so I can't fly with others. Rather his attitude of how to find ways to fly with others has put him ahead. He is now a model and hope for not only the other physically challenged children but also to people like us to hold such a spirit, determination and hardwork to reach our goals. Hats off Mr.Kartik !! I am happy to know that just like me your inspiration is also Dr.A.P.J Kalam. Once during their meeting, Dr.Kalam gave some inspiring words to him  

                      "Son, it is better to have a vision (foresight), than merely have vision (eye sight)."

Well said Dr.Kalam g !! I wish Karthik all success to reach his vision. Nothing could stop you, Go ahead, fly high !! Thanks to Stanford !!But One thing to think of is the need to revise the rules and regulations of Indian educational system that could favor and support the Physically challenged. Lets hope to expect a change. 

Life is enigma PArt 2

      WE come across so many people in our life and all those whom we meet will not stay close to your heart. Though we meet some people everyday even for years we don't mind to get close to them. We will start liking some people the moment we come across and I have heard of falling in love at very first sight. Love at first sight - possible ??? I don't think we can fall in love with a stranger. May be I am wrong. But what I was wondering, among hundred we met, why we are very close and comfortable with few?? What makes us to create a strong friendship bonds with a particular person among many in your circle?? In fact all are humans..This is Engima!!
         But there are people who try to build relationship with another person in order to get help from them or just to make sure they have people around them for their help. Framing a relationship with another to satisfy our needs and to ensure we are not alone to overcome an insecure feeling will not really help a relationship to last longer. U are indeed becoming dependent !! I would say the so called framed relationship can never be an loyal one with true feelings and affection.  We could see people when they study in college or work in a particular place will be close for three or four years and once they come out of that place its pathetic they bid bye not only to the institute but also to their so claimed "framed friends". 

          We can't decide our family or choose your mom and dad. But God has given ultimate rights to choose our "Friends". A relationship has to bloom day by day between two individuals, without any expectations indeed with true love and care without ego. We should always take time to understand each other before getting into any kind of relationship. Presently the art of differentiating the "real ones" from the "fake ones" is essential for everybody to dwell on this planet, because very few people are bonded to true friendship, love and sincerity. Most of the people just please people for their use, utilize them to an extent and jump to another.
           I feel great about  "Karnan" in Mahabharatha and adore his friendship for "Thuriyothanan". He has been so loyal to his friend for helping him to not loose his dignity. He fought against his own brothers and lost his life for the sake of Friendship. How many people at present can be with this same kind of gratitude and loyalty towards their relationships?? People change, will change depending on their situations and needs. How much ever sweet and smart they act, surely one day their actions would rip their mask and you could understand and stop their bipolar act. When we come across the true nature of people around us, we may feel bad and our mind will recall all those help and adjustments we have done for them. Just relax.. and don't worry. This is one best lesson we learnt to analyze and permit people into your life.
             In this world, its very rare to find someone true, someone who can understand you and someone who can form a strong covalent bond like relationship with you. If you find one, you are indeed very lucky and never ever leave them for any reason. Misunderstanding and small fights comes in every relationships and its all about how you adjust, and deal small, small problems in a matured way. If you find a person very true towards you, then never hesitate to do anything for them, be the first to say sorry, give up, don't expect and the most important thing, give some space around them. One of my best friend always says, " what you give in a relationship, you will get back the same thing". Yes, be true, give your 100% and you could see the liveliness in any relationship. Don't pick the stones busily since you can find them easily. Wait with patience to find a Diamond !! 

New Look

Alas!! Its been more than a year, I never minded about "Dimpu's Memoir". I kept myself engaged in many other things that fascinated me, especially the credit goes to "Mr. facebook". I could realize that its been days since I enjoyed the joy of writing. Blogging is such a wonderful activity where one can develop their writing skills, creativity and share/exchange information. Beyond all that, you have all freedom to express your own views and opinions about anything.
           I just don't want to give away blogging !! I feel at least once in a week I should update my blog. Now a days I love changes for by now I understood, Nothing is permanent except Change. So, Today I am giving a new look for my blog. I have changed my background, templates and font style. Hoorahh, Dimpu's Memoir has now got a brand New Look!! Hope you guys will like it :)

A day to adore n honor our Mahatma..

Today is a day to adore our Gandhiji. I admire him for his simplicity, Satyagraha, Non-violence and strong determination. There are two temples in India dedicated to Gandhi. One in Sambalpur,Orissa and another in Chikmangalore, Karnataka. Gandhi influenced great leaders in the world like Martin luther king, Nelson Mandela, James Lawson.
"Christ gave us the goals and Mahatma Gandhi the tactics." – Martin Luther King.
The Mahatma Gandhi district in Texas, US is named after him. Today is the International Day of Non-violence. I am unhappy for he not receiving the Nobel Prize though he was nominated five times but I am happy that we once had a great leader like him to fight for our independence and to impart ahimsa/morals. Inorganic Biology is Insecure?

Life on Earth is based on organic biology (Carbon in the form of amino acids, sugars and nucleotides). Scottish researchers from Glasgow university has taken extreme step in research to create life out of inorganic molecule which they claim to replicate and evolve just like an organic cell.
Professor Lee Cronin said
“What we are trying to do is create self-replicating, evolving, inorganic cells that would essentially be alive. You could call it inorganic biology,” "The grand aim is to construct complex chemical cells with life-like properties that could help us understand how life emerged and also to use this approach to define a new technology based upon evolution in the material world -- a kind of inorganic living technology.
"Bacteria are essentially single-cell micro-organisms made from organic chemicals, so why can't we make micro-organisms from inorganic chemicals and allow them to evolve? "If successful this would give us some incredible insights into evolution and show that it's not just a biological process. It would also mean that we would have proven that non carbon-based life could exist and totally redefine our ideas of design."
Research on Inorganic Biology will be having numerous application especially in medicine and Evolution. But How much secure, ethical is this technology? Is it a act of going against god? Is it safe to create a life with inorganic molecules and what if it turns out as Scientific disaster?
          Tim Harper from Emerging Technologies global Advisory Council argues whether Inorganic biology is responsible or Irresponsible innovation. He quotes," Professor Cronin has just used a number of phrases, perhaps intentionally, which will trigger yet another debate about playing God, worries about what happens when they escape from the lab and take over the world, and brings up the subject of responsible versus irresponsible innovation. He says " The howls of “what if science creates a monster?” have to be balanced against the progress that science has made over the past three hundred years. He advice that we should not try such technology and it may even prove to be a scientific dead end.
         Its a novel thinking from the scientist to create life using inorganic molecules and to impart characters which has to be appreciated. But the consequences before undertaking any research should be thoroughly analysed like what Tim Harper have said so that we will not land up in trouble in the thirst to unreveal mystery in science.

Research say Climate can trigger civil wars

The study published recently in Nature by Princeton University and Columbia University’s Earth Institute states that El Nino (weather cycle) and drastic weather change can trigger violence. The researchers tracked El Nino from 1950 to 2004 and correlated it with onsets of civil conflicts that killed more than 25 people in a given year. (Altogether their data set included 175 countries and 234 conflicts.)
             For tropical nations affected by the El Nino cycle, they found that the chance of civil war breaking out during an El Nino was 6%, double the chance during La Nina years. (La Nina is the flip side of the El Nino cycle.) Overall, they calculated that El Nino may play a role in nearly 30% of the civil conflicts in countries strongly affected by the cycle.
              El Nino cycle can drive violence by causing famine in tropical countries. The lack of food and loss of income might ultimately find way for civil conflict.
               Previously in 2009 Marshall Burke, an economist from University of California-Berkeley argued that higher temperatures increased the risk of civil conflict—and that the warming predicted by 2030 could cause a 54% increase in armed civil conflict in Africa, leading to 393,000 additional battle deaths.
         However climate change is not the only factor that causes conflicts. The author argues that climate can act as accelerant for violence. Click the link below to get this scientific article

How to Love the Job You're With

Many of us aim and dream a career they want to have but unfortunately only few deserves the job they dreamed for. Due to economical situations and to satisfy the needs of our surrounding we get into jobs that we get rather than waiting and seeking for a job we wish. Thereby we degrade and sacrifice our desire. It is really difficult to get adopted,learn, love, apply our thoughts and shine in a job we don't like. But being an employer we have to face the challenges and give productivity to hold that job. Some people for time being take that job, resign once they are blessed with a kind of job they love while some struggles in a situation where they cant either love their job or change it.
